Big Trip

Hey, that's Big Ben! If you've ever wondered what I'd look like pondering the deepest questions of like while standing near the enormous clock tower, see my new profile picture!

And if you'd like to see a few more pictures from London, click here.

The highlight of last Saturday's venture into London: getting cursed at by a very angry Scot with a very dirty mouth. Why it happened is of no consequence, so I won't mention it here. Well, okay, you convinced me. On the train ride home, I picked trash off the seat to sit down, and set the trash a little bit too close to his Kentucky Fried Chicken (not Tennessee Fried Chicken, because they were closed). That angered him, and he used a few choice words to describe that anger. Then he offered me some of his chips. That's french fries here.

And in other news, I got in a car and drove Saturday afternoon. I sat in the right side of the car, shifted with my left hand, and drove on the wrong side of the road. That'll take some getting used to.

Comments:
Like the pictures Joel! So is the traffic any better in London? How about the Taco Bell?

YEAH for an update!!! It looks like London is pretty... I hope you are still enjoying it... Mexico says Hi... or I guess, Hola, que onda??

Wow. You have to go all the way to London to find Tennessee Fried Chicken!

joel...just looked at your pictures on the flikr site.

i'm in the usa now. it's weird. i still speak spanish since it's our "house" language and we're working at a hispanic church. i'm a little culturally out of it these days.
