"We talk about the tyranny of words, but we like to tyrannise over them too; we are fond of having a large superfluous establishment of words to wait upon us in great occasions; we think it looks important, and sounds well."

Almost June?
Yesterday was four days before the first of June. The high temperature yesterday (according to my thermometer) didn't get above 45 degrees. "What?" you say, "That's ridiculous!" You're right, it was crazy!
Not even 45 degrees?! That must be very depressing. I guess you probably stayed in all day drinking tea and eating scones and watching Monty Python or BBC or the Spice Girls. Well look at the bright side of living in England: when you step on a scale, you only weigh about 75 or 80, and when you drive to work, you get to go over 100!
